The state transport and tourism minister Pranajit Singha Roy on Monday said that the Gomati district hospital which triggered series of questions earlier over its functioning to be reshaped soon to facilitate the patients of various sub-divisions of the district with better medical facilities.
The Minister today held a meeting with the medical superintendents of the hospitals and officials of various departments at Gomati district conference hall and took a note of the situation of the hospital building which brewed series of resentment among the locals.
"The main cause of the problems at Gomati District Hospital is the unscientific management of the last left era. People are still suffering from the consequences," said minister Pranajit Singha Roy today while briefing the media after the meeting.
He said, "We have now taken an initiative to reshape the building and facilitate the patients with better medical facilities."
