Dr. V.K. Bahuguna, former Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Forest & ARDD, Govt. of Tripura was on a visit to the state after his retirement from service in 2015.
He attended several public meetings and addressed various gatherings. While interacting with bamboo artisans, he jotted down various issues and action points for their resolutions. He assured the artisans that their issues will be communicated to the State Govt. and also to the Central Govt. for their socio-economic upliftment.
The bamboo artisans were attending a feedback session at Forest Research Centre for Livelihood Extension, Agartala.
