FM Radio Center opened at Udaipur

UDAIPUR:

FM Radio Centre inaugurated at Udaipur yesterday without inviting the majority of journalists and media persons to cover the news.

Revenue minister N.C. Debbarma inaugurated the F.M. Relay Center with capacity of 1 Kilo watt at Banduar of Udaipur. The Relay Center will broadcast the programme of Akashbani within 40 Km circumference of the centre.

Inaugurating the programme N.C. Debbarma said, the centres help to generate awareness about the public welfare projects. Chief Guest and Tourism minister Pranajit Sinha Roy said, talents of people will develop through the centre.

Director of Akashbani Agartala T.K. Das and social worker Madhusudan Bhattacharjee were present on the occasion.

Meanwhile the majority of journalists from Udaipur Press Club and TJU expressed strong resentment for not inviting them at the inaugural programme. In protest a section of journalists decided to send a complaint to Central Minister.
