First Division League Football: Egiye Chalo defeats Jewels

AGARTALA:

Egiye Chalo Sangha started their campaign with a winning note today in the ongoing First division league football tournament organized by Tripura Football association.

At Umakanta mini stadium, Egiye Chalo defeated Jewels association by a satisfactory margin of 3-1. Both the teams have played equal standard of football in the first half while the second half simply belonged to Egiye Chalo as Coach Subhash Bose used his troops well.

In the 7th minute of the match Egiye Chalo Sangha scored the opening goal as from free kick of Angel Jamatia, Joseph scored the opening goal. Just before the end of the first half Banbir Jamatia scored the equalizer.

After the break in the 46th minute another goal has been scored by foreign player Joseph while in the 55th minute Sagar Das scored the third goal for Egiye Chalo. In the end Egiye Chalo won the match by 3-1. Referee Raktim Saha conducted the match.
