Confirming the first-ever COVID-19 positive case in the state of Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb made an appeal to the people of this state not to panic and maintain social distancing at large.
Mr. Deb in his tweeter and Facebook handle has made this appeal and said, “Don't Panic, we are taking proper care of the patient. Stay Home Stay Safe.”
Meantime, Mr. Deb in his next post in social media urged upon, “Those who have reached Agartala on 19th March (01:03 am) via Tripurasundari Express's S4 and S5 coach are requested to contact to the nearest Healthcare center.”
However, this perhaps has come up after the lady – resident of Udaipur Gokulnagar in Gomati District of the state tested with COVID-19 positive has boarded the Tripurasundari Express train to reach Agartala from Guwahati on March 18.
He said, “Government is working round the clock to keep everyone secure. Don’t panic.” He, however, confirmed the case stating, “First #COVID19 positive case detected at Tripura. The patient is from Udaipur.”
