A father who was attacked and injured by his son is battling for life at hospital at present.
Sources said that Fakir Mia (55) was seriously injured by the attack of his son Abdul Kadir (35) with spade when both of them involved in quarrel on share of land. At that time both were engaged in drainage work at Harichand road of Dharmanagar today.
During work the argument between son and father took a serious turn and the son attacked his father with spade which he got in front of him. Immediately the locals informed Fire Service.
Later Fakir Mia was shifted to North District Hospital in seriously injured condition. The doctors advised to take Fakir to out of the state for better treatment. Kadir was arrested by police and brought to Dharmanagar Police Station.
Sources said that Kadir wanted to get all land property of his father while his father was not agree with him as he sent his two sons to Bangalore. The dispute was increasing day by day.
