EVMs and V.V. Pats kept at tight security in RKI

KAILASHAHAR:

EVMs and V.V. Pat machines of four constituencies under Unakoti district have been kept at strong room of RKI within strict protection of security personnel after the election of East Tripura Lok sabha seat.

Required numbers of CRPF has been deployed for protection of the voting machines. Meanwhile Assistant Returning Officer Dr. Bishal Kumar has greeted the polling staffs and voters for free, fair and peaceful election.

Counting of vote will be held at counting hall of RKI for Chandipur, Kailashahar, Fatikroy and Pabiacherra assembly constituencies on May 23. The EVMs and V.V. Pats have been kept at four separate strong rooms.

Two each employees of District Administration are proving duty at each strong room for 24 hours. Besides, CC Cameras installed at the store rooms of machines.

Meanwhile ARO Dr. Bishal Kumar said, there is no objection on voting at East Tripura. No party demanded repoll at any polling booth. The credit free and peaceful polling goes to voters, polling staffs and security personnel.
