Deputy CM urges people to participate in state’s development

AGARTALA:

Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma today said that the state government was wholeheartedly trying to materialize the slogan of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas”.

The present government, he said, wants decentralization of power. People of the state and government should work together for more productive results. Unless and until people of the state come forward to suggest and assist the state government for better achievements, government cannot achieve its desired goals, he added.

Inaugurating Health-Cure Nursing Home at Dharmanagar, he said, the state government is stressing on empowering the district level hospitals so that the pressure on state level hospitals can be reduced. Moreover, there are initiatives to reach out every village with the important services.

Among the others, Deputy Speaker Tripura Legislative Assembly Biswabandhu Sen, Chairman of TITC Tinku Roy, Commissioner of Tripura Commission for Women Barnali Goswami and Chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Board Rajeev Bhattacharjee also attended the programme.
