A delegation of Kailashahar Merchants Association submitted a memorandum to the OC of Kailashahar Police Station expressing their resentment for continuous incidents of theft at shops of Panchowki Bazar.
They demanded to increase night patrolling of police and to set up permanent police picket at the area.
Meanwhile a gang of thieves looted items of more than Rs. 3 lakh from the grosser shop of Nikhil Das before few days. Besides many incidents of theft took place in the market during last one year. But nobody arrested in connection with the incidents.
In protest of such attitude of police the delegation of businessmen expressed their strong resentment to OC Debasish Saha for poor performance of police against theft and snatching.
