Body of a middle aged person recovered at Rudrasagar in Melaghar today. Police sources said that name of the person is Abul Kashem Majumder (42) who was son of Late Abdul Hamid Majumder.
He was the resident of Bardowal village under Sonamura subdivision. The tourists of Neermahal located the body at first. On being informed police recovered the body from the lake and sent to morgue of Melaghar Hospital.
Sources said that family members of the deceased filed a missing case at Sonamura Police Station before two days. Local sources said that the person was suffering from mental disease.
Meanwhile an UD case filed at Melaghar Police Station under case no 3/19-174 CRPC 21/1/19.
