The communist party backed Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) to soon launch protest and fight for saving the constitution of India, which according to the federation is under severe attack.
"We will soon walk on street slogging to save constitution and save nation," said DYFI All India Secretary Abhoy Mukharjee today here at Agartala. He was addressing a press conference here at Agartala DYFI office.
He said, "Every single political party has their own right to their ideology. But one does not have right to snatch the constitutional right of anyone." Targeting the BJP government at the centre and Tripura, he said, "The youths of this nation are deprived from their rights and the opposition parties are not allowed to put its opinion, which is against the constitutional right."
On being asked Mr. Mukharjee said, "At first we are working to strengthen our organisation by building up confidence level aiming our workers. Then we will soon walk on a street demanding to save our Nation and constitution."
Meantime, the DYFI state secretary Nabarun Deb said, "Crimes are gradually increasing in Tripura under the rule of BJP led coalition government." He said, "Every single day women are tortured. Women are gang raped and murdered."
"People like bankers are killed under dark sky in capital town," adding to this he said, "The Chief Minister who also holds the home port folio has failed to restore deteriorated law and order situation in the state."
