Former PCC president Birajit Sinha appealed the voters to win Congress candidate Subal Bhowmik in West Tripura and Pragya Debbarman in East Tripura with huge majority in the forthcoming Lok sabha Poll.
He made this appeal at Karaimura area of Charilam when a huge rally of Congress workers and supporters was parading the street.
Among others Youth Congress president Sushanta Chakraborty, Bishalgarh Block Congress president Haradhan Debnath were present in the rally.
At first a meeting was organized with Block Congress workers at the house of Joydul Hussain. Later a huge rally of Congress workers and supporters paraded the entire area.
During meeting the workers strongly criticized the one year’s activity of BJP government in the state and 4 years rule of BJP led NDA in centre.
