Largest Rash festival and fair of Bishnupriya Manipuri Community will begin at Badlutma Traiyee Mandap of Kamalpur subdivision on Tuesday next.
Meanwhile the preparation 122nd Rash Utsav and Mela reached at ultimate stage. Speaking to media member of Mela and Utsav Committee Surya Kumar Sinha said, the number of government and private stalls is increasing in comparison to previous year. Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Devbarman will inaugurate the festival on November 20 in presence of Food Minister Manoj Kanti Deb, MLA Asish Das and many other dignitaries.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb will inaugurate the main Rush Utsav on November 23. It is also the last day fair. The artists from the state, out of state and Bangladesh will perform colorful cultural programme during four days of Mela and festival. Rakhal Nritya will be performed on last day of the festival at Traiyee Mandap.
