Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Manikya participated in the programme of Kalai community at Jamir cherra School ground on the occasion of 150 years completion of Kalai society of Ambassa yesterday.
Chief Minister attended the programme at 11:50 p.m. starting from Agartala at 9:15 p.m. after assembly session.
The heads of Kalai society were also present on the occasion in presence of thousands of people Deb expressed happiness observing works of handicrafts in the fair.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister appreciated the practice of healthy culture in the state and reiterated his promise to make Tripura a drug free and addiction free state.
