The patients and their family members are quite anxious at North district as one and only City Scan Machine at North District went out of order during last one week.
Lakhs of people of the district are dependent on the machine at North District Hospital. But the authority has no initiative to repair it.
At present the injured people who are becoming victim of accidents are suffering from panic as scan report became essential for treatment of patients in different incidents. The doctors also cannot understand how they would be able to treat the patients without scan report.
On being asked M.S. Shirshendu Chakma said that he would not be able to give any perfect time to say when the machine would start functioning again. On failing to find no other option the patients and their family members demanded intervention of Health minister Sudip Roy Barman.
