Along with rest of the world, the Border Security Force (BSF), Tripura Frontier liaises with all CAPFs deployed in the State of Tripura has observed the 4th International Yoga Day on Thursday.
More than 1000 personnel comprising of Officers, SOs and Other ranks from various CAPFs including BSF, CRPF, Assam Rifle and CISF along with 600 children from various schools participated under the aegis of BSF Tripura Frontier performed the yoga exercise at Khumulwng Stadium, Jirania, Agartala.
According to the press communiqué of the BSF, Tripura Frontier, the day was celebrated at all hundreds of BSF locations in Tripura along the entire stretch of Indo-Bangladesh Borders Battalions and Sector Headquarters, with increased enthusiasm in organized and disciplined manner.
Besides, the Border Guard Bangladesh troops jointly took part in International Yoga day celebrations at the Agartala Akhaura Integrated Check Post, with their BSF brothers in arms, amidst presence of encouraging spectators and media representatives, truly portraying the theme adopted for this year – “Yoga for Peace”.
The Fourth International Yoga Day was observed across the world as well as in State of Tripura on June 21, 2018.This day, troops of Border Security Force, take part in Govt of India initiative to dedicated the day to inner and outer well-being of human body with people across the world in practicing Yoga in groups. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing Yoga, a physical, mental and spiritual practice.
