A BSF Jawan, who trains in swimming died on Friday morning under suspicious circumstances at Agartala. The deceased is identified as Sheikh Saheb Pasha (39) a resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
Reportedly the incident took place on Friday morning while Sheikh Saheb was swimming in the lake at Melarmath and suddenly died under suspicious circumstances. It is to be mentioned here that Sheikh Saheb was posted in BSF Salbagan Camp.
Getting alarm the police force and the fire service crew reached the spot and recovered the body from the lake. According to the police, he even provided swimming classes too few children’s every morning. Police is suspecting that he died after he lost consciousness in the water.
However, the exact cause of death, whether it was a heart attack or something else, will be known only after the post-mortem,” the police officer said. Further investigation is underway.
