Police officials of Irani police station under the leadership of SDPO Kailasahar today seized huge quantity of Brown sugar from the possession of four persons.
According to the police sources, acting on a tip-off, police officials raided the house of one Asath Ali, an SPO (Special Police Officer) with the Irani police station and seized the drugs.
Police sources also claimed, it is the biggest ever seizure of Brown sugar in Kailashar and the police teams have already started a probe to track others involved in this heinous trail of drugs.
Meanwhile, police also arrested Asath Ali and two of his associates Mehar Ali and Mansor Ali red handed. A tribal youth was also arrested along with them who seemed have reached there to purchase drugs, added the sources.
