Tension created among local people after recovering a bomb rapped by cello tape at the side of Kailashahar – Fatikroy Road along with a bag at Hattare Bazar area in the early morning today.
Immediately they informed police. On being informed police rushed to the spot with Dog Squad. They covered the bomb. Sources said that Bomb Squad from Agartala will arrive here to defuse the bomb. Police sources said, the bomb is not so powerful. SDPO Chandan Saha has also visited the spot.
In a separate incident one labourer of a rubber plantation owned by Mati Karmakar saw a bomb when he was collecting rubber from rubber tree at Gabtali area of Belonia subdivision in the morning today.
Immediately he informed the owner and local people. On informed police arrived there from Srirampur Out Post. Then police informed Bomb Squad and neutralized the bomb. Meanwhile police started investigation. The incident created a situation of panic in the area.
