The students of NSS Unit under Kabi Nazrul Vidyabhavan proved their social responsibility by organizing blood donation camp today as a part of 7 days training of students under NSS Unit.
Altogether 30 persons donated blood in the camp including students of the unit, teachers and guardians. Among others Teliamura Municipal councilor Nitin Saha, Medical Superintendent of Khowai District Hospital Dr. Dhananjoy Reang were present on the occasion.
Besides, training on importance of voting by new voters, bad effect of poly bags, workshop of AIDS and Yoga, cleanliness campaign, role of NSS volunteers to build up addition free state, prevention of pollution and protection of embankment of Khowai river, protection of domestic violence, seminar on legal awareness, Mega health camp at remote tribal areas, cloth distribution will be organized during 7 days.
