At last Parikhshit Sinha, main accused of ransacking at Sanicherra Hospital and assaulting nurse caught after 36 hours of the incident. The incident shows a negative trend of a ruling party worker when the ruling party is trying to stand erect against ransacking at hospital.
Sources said that accused Parikhshit Sinha is an active BJP worker. He also claimed himself as a Yuba Morcha worker.
Meanwhile local people and doctors of Shanicherra and North district strongly condemned the incident. SI of Churaibari Police Station Ajit Debbarma succeeded to arrest him after 36 hours of the incident.
SI Debbarma was waiting at Nadiapur area of National Highway with large contingent of police at 8 p.m. yesterday. In the meantime they caught Parikhshit and brought him to the police station. He has been sent to 14 days jail remand after producing in court today. A case has been filed against the accused under case no 11/19 and under Section 353/332/427/506 of IPC.
Tripura LS Poll: 80.40% voting turnout recorded till 5 PM
