In a bizarre incident, one woman BJP councilor of Khowai Municipal council ward 6, Mina Sukla Das (28) today spotted beheaded at railway tracks, near about 3 Kilometers away from Telimuara Railway station. The suspected suicide has taken place after a heated exchange of words with her husband, according to sources.
The woman with her husband came to her parental residence at Teliamura during yesterday’s Kali puja. After the Puja a hot altercation took place between both husband and wife that led the husband to leave for his house. Aggrieved by the incident, the woman reportedly rushed to the railway tracks and jumped in front of Agartala-Silchar Express.
However, the railway police have taken a case of unnatural death. The body of the woman was preserved in the morgue for post mortem, added the police sources.
