BJP celebrated Bijoy Utsav at Dharmanagar today after land slide victory of BJP in the country and the state. Men and women of the party floated in saffron colour in a grand rally in presence of Deputy Speaker of the assembly Biswa Bandhu Sen.
The victory rally was scheduled to hold on Friday last. But the date deferred as different areas of the subdivision affected badly after fresh flood.
Meanwhile four relief camps opened at Dharmanagar Govt College, Tangibari Panchayat Office, Rajbari Girls School and Tangibari Anganwadi Centre to provide shelter to flood affected people. Administrative and political workers extended their hand to help the distressed people.
However the flood water reduced at present and the affected people went back to their houses. So the victory rally organized today.
Biswa Bandhu Sen said, the people of the country got befitting reply who criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb. The difference of vote increased here up to 15,000.
