On the occasion winter clothes were distributed among the distressed people today with initiative of Swami Vivekananda Samajsebi Sangha and Pranabananda Vidyamandir. The programme got huge response of people.
On the occasion Director of Bharat Shevashram and Principal of Pranabananda Vidyamandir Achalanandaji inaugurated the new Office room. Besides president of VSS Bhabatosh Dutta, Secretary Niharendu Nath were present at the programme.
Apart from this Swami Achalanandaji accepted all responsibilities of study expenses to be incurred for Mousumi Mahishya Das who is the daughter of Shyamal Mahisyadas.
Meanwhile birth day of Masterda Surjya Sen and Swami Vivekananda observed with befitting manner at Teliamura today. It was the 86th Birth day of Masterda.
The day started by offering floral tribute to the Statue of Surjya Sen. Sushil Kumar Dey, the colleague of Surjya Sen had set up the statue of Surjya Sen. The official members of Surjya Sen Trusty Board discussed about life of Sen. Imani Bhowmik wife of freedom fighter Late Mahendra Chandra Bhowmik, former MLA Gouri Das were attended the programme.
In the meantime members of Swami Vivekananda Club distributed fruits and sweets among the patients of Teliamura Hospital on birth day of Swami Vivekananda on the occasion blankets were distributed among 40 under privileged people.
On the occasion a colorful rally of students on ideals of Swamiji paraded different streets of Teliamura.
