Two journalists involved in altercation with Engineer and filed cases against each other when they went to collect news of road construction at Manubazar today.
Sources said that 450 meter road is R.C.C. Road from Satchand to Kalapania. Concrete filling of RCC road was going on at Manubazar area. The work was suspended for long time although the work started from 2014-15. The work of construction restarted before last one week. I.O. Sanchit Das and Assistant Engineer Bikram Tripura were present at the work site.
The journalists said that I.O. Sanchit Das expressed objection when they went to take photograph and Sanchit Das delivered objectionable words against the journalists and threatened to take action against them. Later other journalists rushed to the spot.
Meanwhile Sanchit Das said, the journalists have right to take photograph of road. But they had no introduction with journalists as they were new comers.
He also said that he wanted to see their identity card. On this issue argument started between them. Later, Sanchit Das filed a complaint at the Police Station.
Meanwhile Executive Engineer of Satchand RD Block Sanchit Reang said, there is no question with quality of work. However he regretted for the misbehave with journalists.
