Resentment sparked among the teachers of government schools by a revolutionary decision of Education department.
Sources said that the department decided to introduce Summer camp at schools during Summer Vacation this year. According to holiday list the schools remain closed from April 24 to May 8 to observe Summer Vacation.
In a notice the School Education department instructed that education camp during Summer Vacation will continue at all government and government aided schools from April 24 to May 8. During the days classes will continue at the schools from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
As a result the teachers and guardians expressed resentment who are willing to visit in and out of the state for traveling and treatment. Some of them bought advance plane and train tickets to visit out of the state. But they will have to incur huge loss by the decision of the department.
