According sources in the party, the state Congress chief Pradyot Kishore Debbarman is eyeing to the ADC elections as the biggest chance to revamp the party in the state. With promising results in the Panchayat and Lok Sabha elections held recently, though in small scale, the Congress is now more focused to capitalize on the indigenous vote bank. Party insiders also told this website that the first meeting of the party pertaining to the ADC elections was going to be held tomorrow in presence of Bhupen Borah and state level leaders of Congress.
