44th National Junior Kabaddi tournament will be held at Cuttack in Odisha from December 12-15. In the tournament Tripura will also take part in both Boy’s and Girl’s category. For this tournament Tripura team in both the sections has been announced already and with the selected players special training camp started from December 2 and will continue till December 8.
In front of Tripura Sports Council office players in both the sections are doing practice on mat. About the preparation camp Minu Saha Choudhury, secretary of Tripura Kabaddi association said that in the national event players have to play on mats and this preparation will lead them to play well in the tournament. Tripura will leave for the tournament on December 9.

Tripura LS Poll: 80.40% voting turnout recorded till 5 PM
Addressing a press conference here in his chamber on Friday evening, RO Dr Vishal Kumar said, “The voting turnout rested at 80.40% till 5 pm today and the figure is expected to cross the record of the previous Lok Sabha election which recorded 82.4%.”
