In a tragic incident one brother died and another brother injured seriously who were going from Kakraban to Udaipur by riding a bike in the morning today.
Sources said that two brothers Arpan Das and Dipen Das who were coming from Kakraban to Udaipur by riding bike. But an auto driver who was coming with passengers from Kakraban to Udaipur found them in injured condition after crossing Palatana Bazar.
Immediately the auto driver vacated the car by dropping passengers and shifted the injured youths to Gomati District Hospital. But the doctors announced Arpan Das dead. At present treatment of Dipen Das is going on at Gomati District Hospital.
In a separate incident teacher Jadugopal Majumder, elder brother of Advocate Swapan Majumder at Matabari area died due to cardiac arrest Gomati District Hospital today. He was admitted in T.S. hospital with chest pain. Later he was referred to District Hospital. But the doctors announced him dead.
