Acting on a specific input, the BSF Intelligence branch jointly with the SDM and SDPO Sonamura and Police conducted a search in operation and seized a total of 2,040 Kgs of dry cannabins from the Office complex of Cosmopolitan Club under Melaghar Police Station.
The market value of the seized ganjas rested at over Rs. 1 crore. Police have registered a FIR against the President and Secretary of this Club under NDPS Act. Police is currently investigating the case.
