Work culture of Chief Medical Officer’s office reached to an intolerable situation. At the same time some employees of the office have been continuing siphoning off fund for long time. Among them two are employees under the State Government and another is staff under project.
The office was being executed according to whims of the employees during the period of Left Front. The employees had close relation with the then CPI-M MLA and his brother. As a result nobody dared the open mouth against them. All the three employees have their own house at Udaipur.
One of them is a dweller of Badamokam area, another is resident of Dakbanglow Road and the third one is dweller of Udaipur town.
But the attitude of the employees has not changed even after change of government in the state. They come in the office according to their own time and go back to house at any time before break of office hours.
Most funny thing is that no employee becomes available at any table before 11 a.m.. Besides many of the employees go back home for tiffin before 1 p.m. Health workers alleged that no employee stays in the office after 3 p.m.
As a result ASHA workers are being harassed who come to the office from different parts of the district.
Besides, often of the time CMO remains out of his chamber, alleged the health workers. As a result health workers of Amarpur, Karbook are feeling frustrated after arriving at the office.
