As per the expectation Tripura Sports School started their journey on a winning note in the ongoing Women League football tournament organized by Tripura Football association.
At Dasarath Deb stadium in Badharghat, Tripura Sports School defeated Teliamura XI by 3-1. Bulk of Teliamura XI players took part in the recently concluded Subrata Mukherjee Cup football tournament but in front of Tripura Sports School players they simply surrendered today.
In the 30thminute of the match Anita Jamatia scored the opening goal for Sports school while in the 44thminute Anita Jamatia scored her second goal of the match. In the 62nd minute Priti Jamatia scored the third goal while just before the end of the match Juile Molsom scored the only goal for Teliamura XI.
In the end Tripura Sports School won the match by 3-1. Shibjyoti Chakraborty was the referee of the match. Tripura police to face Jampuijala Play centre tomorrow.
