At last students succeeded to repair water pipeline of Rabindra Nagar H.S. School by organizing road blockade at Sonamura today.
Sources said that the students were suffering from water crisis as water pipeline was not repaired during last 15 days. The pipeline remained the same during the vacation of Durgapuja.
The students informed the matter to SDM after opening of school. But the students failed to get any response till afternoon today.
At last the students decided to road blockade observing reluctance of administration to repair the pipeline. The blockade stopped movement of vehicle on Sonamura – Kanthalia Road. The delegates of administration failed to withdraw the road blockade after appealing them to remove the blockade. However the administration withdrew the blockade by shifting the students from road on urgent basis and repaired the pipeline immediately.
