BJP candidates won all 15 wards under Belonia Municipal Council according to result announced by State Election Commission today. The BJP candidates won all the seats by defeating CPI-M candidates with record number of vote.
It is also mentionable here that CPI-M withdrew the polling agents at 11a.m. on the day of by-poll in protest of malpractice in the by-election. Besides, the party withdrew the counting agents today with same allegation today.
