Director (Commercial) of TNGCL Banani Debbarman handed over a Cheque of Rs.15 lakh to DM of Gomati T.K. Debnath for development of society at a formal programme held at conference hall of DM Office today.
Among others Deputy General Manager of TNGCL Prasenjit Purkayastha, Senior Manager (HR) Sankar Saha, Atanu Dutta Choudhury and Somnath Chakraborty were present on the occasion.
Speaking to media Banani Debbarman said, if everything remains at right place project of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) will begin at Gomati centering Udaipur from September this year. Udaipur and extended area of Gomati district are going to become an important sector CNG and PNG in days to come.
Referring the problem of land for CNG Station at Udaipur she appealed to DM to take positive step in this regard. Meanwhile CNG station started at Bishramganj, she added. Among others DGM Prasenjit Purkaystha stressed on CNG Testing Centre at Udaipur.
Meanwhile officers of TNGCL said that providing pipeline gas service from door to door will be possible from March in next year. DM of Gomati assured to provide full fledged cooperation to bring forward the project.
DM also said that the received fund would be spent for development of Amtali Alor Dishari Orphan Home and Netaji Vidyaniketan J.B. School at west bank of Mahadeb Dighi.
