In an incident of devastating fire altogether two houses gutted at Laxminagar area under Churaibari Police Station in last night.
Sources said that fire started from the house of Ananta Nath of Laxmi Nagar village. The staffs of Fire Service suspected that the fire started from short circuit.
The members of the house saw fire at corner of the house when they were going to sleep after having meal at night. Within few moments the fire engulfed the entire house. The house of Ananta Nath and Swadesh Nath gutted one by one.
Meanwhile they informed Fire Service. But the fire tender reached after one hour of getting information. As a result almost all items of both the houses including house hold items, two bikes, one scooter, two bicycles were reduced into ashes.
Meanwhile the Fire Service staffs said that they had nothing to do although allegation raised against them. The Fire brigade reached late as the newly appointed driver was not aware of road and the vehicle moved slowly due to poor condition of road in village.
Meanwhile sources said that the amount of loss could be more than Rupees six lakh. The police of Churaibari filed a case at Churaibari Police Station and started investigation.
