Two day long Chess event to start tomorrow

AGARTALA:

Two day long Chess tournament with the academy chess players will start from tomorrow at Lions Club. With the initiative of Anand Chess Academy, this tournament will be held as Manas Debbarman, President of the organizing academy will inaugurate the tournament while among the other dignitaries Sujit Chanda, vice president of the academy will also remain present.

The tournament will be consisted of 5 rounds. On the opening day two rounds of play will be held as Biswajit Nag and Prabodh Ranjan Datta will associate the matches. Already 60 chess players enrolled their names for the tournament.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held on Sunday at 6.00 pm. Biswajit Nag, secretary of the academy announced the news.
