The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Tuesday declared the results of the science stream of the higher secondary or Class 12 board examination, where 84.31% of the students passed, which perhaps has a minor increase from the previous year where 83.77% science students cleared the Class 12 exams.
A total of 3,027 candidates from Science stream had taken the exam, of which 2,552 passed, TBSE chief Mihir Kanti Deb said while announcing the result on Tuesday morning in a press conference.
“Results of Class 12 Commerce and Humanities are expected to be declared by June 12,” Deb said.
Deb said that the candidates who want to get their answer sheets reviewed need to submit review forms to their respective schools by May 25. The Board should receive the form by May 29.
The board had to reschedule the dates for three Class 12 papers to avoid a clash with electoral process for the assembly polls. The English exam, to be conducted on March 5, was rescheduled to March 8.
More than 25,510 students appeared in Class 12 board exams this year of which around 4,000 are from science stream. The exams began from March 8 and ended on April 13.
