Training from Prasenjit Sir helps me well: Debalina

National School Chess tournament will be held from November 10-14 where Tripura will also take part. The tournament will be held at Warangal district in Telengana. Among the chess players in Tripura team talented chess player Debalina Kundu will also take part and is eyeing to do well.

After performing well in the recently concluded National Under 15 Chess tournament at Ahmadabad the confident level of this young chess player went very much high as she got 6 points from 11 rounds in the tournament. With this she got 141 rating points and now place with 1274 rating.

Debalina gave full credit to Fide Master Prasenjit Datta as she took part in 5 day coaching camp organized by ‘Shyam Sundar Co Jewelers’ as fide master Prasenjit personally guided the players in the camp. At the end of the camp Debalina Kundu and Muskan Debnath took personal tips from him.

From Ahmadabad today Debalina said,” This result won’t be possible without the guidance from Prasenjit sir as on those 8 days I came across with some valuable tips from sir which helped me to improve on my skill.” On the other hand with 4 points from the tournament Muskan Debnath also became eligible to get rating.
