Traffic awareness camp for Bikers held at Narshingarh

AGARTALA:

IAS officer GSG Ayyangar along with the traffic department on Tuesday organized a Traffic awareness camp on Tuesday at Narsingarh.

The camp was organized following the one year death anniversary of IAS officer GSG Ayyangar’s son Bamshi Ayyangar who died in a road accident at Hyderabad in the year 2017. It is to be mentioned here that Bamshi Ayyangar was a MBBS 3rd year student who mercilessly died at a very young age in road accident.

Reportedly, as a part of the traffic awareness campaign held at Narsingarh, IAS officer GSG Ayyangar offered Helmet to the TIT students and also the bike riders without helmet.

There is no denying the fact that road accidents are a serious concern for the traffic police departments of each Indian state and what makes it more important is the fact that most people lose their lives because they don't wear helmets while riding two-wheelers.
