Third Division League Football: Saroj to face Keshab in big final

AGARTALA:

Saroj Sangha will face Keshab Sangha in the final match of the ongoing Third division league football tournament organized by Tripura Football association. The final match will be held on July 13 at Swami Vivekananda stadium. In the last super stage match today Saroj Sangha defeated Sobuj Sangha by 3-1 and thus moved to the final of the tournament.

After entering the final Saorj Sangha also achieved another feat as they became eligible to play in the second division football after a gap of two years. From the start of the match Saroj players started to play attacking football which led them to the victory while on the other hand just like the last match in this match also Sobuj players looked weak in all of the sectors in the field.

Also due to heavy rain from the morning rain stuck at many parts of the field and for this both the teams failed to play any kind of aggressive football. But in between this also Saroj players played with lots of potential as they were very much aware about the conditions of the fact and from the beginning of the match they have not give any kind of chance to the opposition.

Also Saroj goalkeeper Khomchagla Reang displayed some outstanding goalkeeping skills and saved around three goals in the match. The first half of the match went goalless as in the 50thminute Debajit Reang scored the opening goal while Aditya Debbarma scored the equalizer as that point of time it looked Sobuj Sangha will make a comeback in the match.

But in this regard Sobuj players failed to do so as Saroj players started to play more attacking football from that moment. In the 77th minute of the match Kotal Jamatia scored the second goal from the corner kick of Debajit Reang while just before the end of the match Josoa Marak scored the third goal. In the end Saroj won by 3-1. Satyajit Debroy was the referee of the match.
