Keshab Sangha today displayed some outstanding football and made a place in the final of the ongoing Third division league football tournament organized by Tripura football association.
In the first match of the super stage today Keshab Sangha defeated one of the tournament favoutites Sobuj Sangha by 2-0 and thus made a place in the final of the tournament.
Though Sobuj Sangha lost the match today but they will get another chance to make a place in the final as in the qualifier 2 Sobuj Sangha will face Saroj Sangha on July 10. In this match today Keshab Sangha totally outplayed the Sobuj team in all of the departments and snatched the victory in the end. While wrong tactics today led Sobuj Sangha to the downfall after playing so well in league stage.
After 12 minutes of the match Pintu Malakar has been pulled of while Sobuj also missed the service of Jakir Hussein. On the other hand Keshab Sangha today entered with 4-4-2 plan and from the start of the match played some outstanding and attacking football but till the 39th minute of the match lost two easy chances to score goals. The first goal came in the 39th minute of the match.
Sabbir Mia scored the opening goal with a superb right leg placing from the centre of Sahajalal Mia. Sobuj Sangha also tried their best to make a comeback in the match but failed to do so.
Just before the end of the match Sahajalal has been fouled by Rubel Mia in the box and Keshab got a penalty. From the spot kick Sahajalal scored the second goal and thus Keshab Sangha won the match by 2-0. Satyajit Debroy was the referee of the match.
