Sunfeast Under 13 Football gets underway from today

AGARTALA:

In the opening day of Sunfeast Under 13 Football tournament today Rakesh Mia, son of rickshaw pullar grabbed all the attentions of all football lovers and also of the dignified members who remained present at Umakanta mini stadium.

With his superb skill and technique he saved around five certain goals today. Though his team Bhati Abhoynagar play centre lost the match but each and everyone praised for this rising talent.

Belonged to a very poor family, Rakesh Mia who is a student of 6th standard started his football carrier two years back under the guidance of former footballer Narayan Debnath.

With slit and dirty gloves today Rakesh once again proved that no dream is small when we have that willpower to do the thing what we love. At the end of the match also Sports Council secretary Dilip Chakraborty, state football association president Subrata Debbarma and Secretary Dipen Ghosh praised the goal keeper.

In the first match of the tournament today Bhagat Singh Play centre defeated Hindi School by 5-0. Saptam Harijan scored two goals while Dushmanta Reang, Upendra Reang and Suchandra Reang scored the other goals. In the second match Matinagar PC defeated Abhoynagar PC by 3-0. Jewel Mia scored 2 goals.
