Student of class –X got close shave after electrocution at the Science Fair of Sabroom Girls H.S. School yesterday due to irresponsibility of teacher in-charge of the project.
Sources said that Student of class- X Rimita Saha participated in the two days Science Fair organized by the school. MLA Sankar Roy inaugurated the exhibition on September 19. But Rimita was electrocuted by shock at 5 p.m. yesterday when she was explaining the model. Immediately she fall down on the ground and became senseless.
On being informed the teachers shifted her to Sabroom Hospital. Later she regained her sense after two hours.
Meanwhile the guardians claimed that the incident occurred due to negligence of school authority. The models were functioning directly by electric connection instead of using any battery or inverter. As a result the girl was electrocuted.
