Just like the Girls team, Tripura Sports School in the Boy’s category also made a cracking start in the ongoing State level Subrata Mukherjee Cup Football tournament. On the second day of the tournament at Ambassa total 4 matches have been held at Kulai H.S field.
In the first match of the day at 8.00 am, Tripura Sports School defeated West District by a huge margin of 5-1. In this match Sports school played with lots of dominance as Manish Debbarma scored 3 goals while Biswajit Debbarma and Bobar Debbarma scored 1 goal respectively.
In the other match at Thakur Palli field Sepahijala District defeated South District by a dominant margin of 4-1. Bishal Debbarma scored two goals and displayed some skill in the match while Shiba Debbarma and Sagar Debbarma of the winning team scored 1 goal each.
In the evening Khowai district defeated Dhalai District by a huge margin of 5-0. Subrata Debbarma scored 4 goals. In the last match Gomati District defeated North District by a huge margin of 4-1. From the start of the match Gomati district played with lots of dominance and won the match.
Among the Gomati players Sombhajoy Reang, Rangbala Darlong, Aliben Reang and Chamul Ram Halam scored the four goals. The two semifinals will be held today as in one semifinal Sepahijala District will face Khowai district while in the other match Tripura Sports School will face North District.
