Senior Cricket Tournament: Bishalgarh defeats Bishramganj

BISHALGARH:

Splendid Hundred by Satyaban Das and all round performance from Joy Kishan Saha led Bishalgarh School to a win as today they defeated Bishramganj Play centre by a huge margin of 184 runs in the ongoing Senior cricket tournament organized by Bishalgarh subdivision cricket association.

At Murabari field today batting first Bishalgarh made 327 runs for the loss of 8 wickets from 42 overs. Among the batsmen Satyaban Das slammed a brilliant hundred as he made 112 from just 57 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes while among the others Joy Kishan Saha made 85 from 68 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes and Nishan Saha made 41 runs from 69 balls with 4 fours and 1 six.

Among the bowlers Rakesh Das picked up 3 wickets. In reply Bishramganj Play centre bundled out for a mere 143 runs. Among the batsmen Paltu Sinha made 34 while Rakesh Das made 25.

Among the Bishalgarh bowlers Joy Kishan Saha picked up 4 wickets while Paritosh Paul picked up 3 wickets. Bishalgarh School won the match by a huge margin of 184 runs.
