Second Division League Football: Nabodaya stays alive for super

AGARTALA:

Nabodaya Sangha today shared points with Birendra Club in an important match of the ongoing Second division league football tournament organized by Tripura Football association.

The match between these two sides has been ended up with 3-3 draw. At the end of the match with 10 points from 7 matches Nabodaya stayed in hunt for a place in the super stage as they have to win their last match against Ramkrishna Club. On the other hand with 16 points from 8 matches, Birendra Club ended in the second position in the points table. In the match today Birendra lost the match due to their over confidence in the last couple of minutes.

In the match today Birendra Club was advanced by 3-1 but in the end failed to win. In the 40thminute Suranjit Debbarma scored own goal while in the 48th minute Sahadeb Debbarma scored the equalizer for Birendra.

9 minutes later Banbir scored the second goal and in the 74th minute Swarna Kumar Jamatia scored the third goal for Birendra. In the 83rd minute Prabhat Sadhan Jamatia scored the second goal for Nabodaya.

Just before the end of the match Kuchung Jamatia scored the third goal for Nabodaya as Birendra Club failed to win this match and the match ended up in 3-3 draw. Raktim Saha was the referee of the match.
