Second Division League Football: Birendra to face Town Club tomorrow

AGARTALA:

As per the points table, the biggest match of the ongoing Second Division League Football tournament organized by Tripura Football association will be held tomorrow. In this match no 1 team in points table Birendra Club will face no 2 team in the points table Town Club. This high voltage match will be held at 3.30 pm at Swami Vivekananda stadium.

For this big match Birendra Club players looked dam serious while on the other hand Town club may not be taking this match seriously as bulk of their players spend the whole day at hotel as today only some players of Town club took part in the final practice session before this big match. For this the club members are not happy at all as this is the important phase in the tournament.

In their last match against Sai Sag, Town Club players failed to play their best football as in that match for three consecutive time Town Club was advanced from the opposition Sai Sag but ended the match on a draw. In this situation without match practice how much will the Town players can deliver in this match that’s the most important matter as they have to win to go to top.

On the other hand players of Birendra Club looked very much serious today in the last practice session under the guidance of Coach Subodh Debbarma. As per tournament Birendra Club will enter in the match as the favourite team. Coach Subodh Debbarma also very much in believe on his star player Banbir as for this striker Birendra Club won their last two matches in the tournament.

At the end of today’s practice session Subodh Debbarma said,” We are not thinking anything rather than a win in the match. All the players are also very much aware with the fact that opposition Town club is a strong side but they know how to win the match against a strong side.” While on the other hand Town coach Raju Lama looked very much disappointed not having full team in practice.
