The Supreme Court bench of justices Adarsh Kumar Goel and Udai Umesh Lalit shall hear the Tripura government’s petition seeking a year of extension for the feared 10, 323 teachers on December 14. The court bench today postponed the hearing of three case related to the much talked about 10, 323 teachers.
Of the three cases, the Tripura government has filed two which includes the petition seeking a year of extension of the service of the terminated 10, 323 teachers who are supposed to lose their jobs after December 31st this year in accordance to the apex court verdict earlier and another vacating of the stay on recruitment of 12 thousand non-teaching staff. The third was filed by two graduate teachers, Pradip Banik and Arvind Sharma who filed a revision petition against the Supreme Court order passed on March 29 this year on behalf of the Graduate and Post-graduate teachers among the 10,323.
However, this perhaps has added another worry to the already feared 10, 323 teachers who recently moved for Mahakaran Abhiyan seeking written assurance from the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and another section of the 10, 323 teachers staged a National Highway and train blockade in the state seeking a permanent solution from the government.
