Santosh Memorial Cricket: OPC registers second win

AGARTALA:

5 wickets haul from Nishi Kanta Debnath led OPC to their second win on the trot today in the ongoing Santosh Memorial ‘A’ Division cricket tournament organized by Tripura Cricket association. At MBB Stadium today OPC defeated Blood Mouth by 7 wickets.

Batting first Blood Mouth fell into deep batting trouble as they bundled out for a mere 95 runs from 30.4 overs. Among the batsmen Joykishan Saha made 15 while Arkaprabha Sinha and Rohan Roy scored 12 runs each and 23 extra runs have been given by the opposition team.

Among the OPC bowlers Nishi Kanta Debnath picked up 5 wickets. In reply OPC achieved the target in just 24.2 overs losing 3 wickets. Opener Arup Datta remained unbeaten on 32 while Kritidipta Das made 29 and Rahul Saha made 19. OPC won the match by 7 wickets.
